Development Background
The original Saratoga Cycle was developed in 1987 by a C-5/6 quadriplegic and his occupational therapist wife for their own needs. Not an ordinary "product for the handicapped," Saratoga Cycles are products developed by the handicapped - like many others, the product of necessity.
For many years, Rand-Scot provided Saratoga Corporation's engineering and manufacturing services. When the product line was offered to Rand-Scot, we welcomed the opportunity to provide it directly to the public.
