I have been using the BBD cushions for over forty years with absolutely no problems with pressure sores since. As a busy and active engineering student, sitting all day on dense medical grade foam, I spent a two week stretch in the student health clinic with a pressure sore. A therapist then discovered the BBD and I have been sitting on one every day since that time. I would not trust on of my most precious “assets” to anything else! The BBD cushion saw me thru a busy engineering career that involved many 12 -14 hour workdays, seven days a week. The Rand-Scot acquisition and new design for the BBD cushion has increased the durability of my cushions by over 200%! My last BBD lasted 3 years without failure!

I have used your cushion for almost a year and the results still have me on “cloud 9.” I am a traumatic paraplegic for 24 years now. For 23 of those years, no matter how carefully I handled myself, decubiti appeared from time to time. However, since your cushions came into my life, decubiti has been history!

For over 55 years, I have been a paraplegic. I began using the BBD cushions in the late 1960’s. Over the years, I have used other brands at the insistence of different therapists & physicians, however, when I did, my skin would inevitably show signs of breakdown and too many times resulted in decubitus ulcers. I would go back to the BBD and the problems were always resolved. After many years of continued use of the BBD, I can thankfully say that I have not had a single instance of skin breakdown. I will not use, nor would I recommend any other brand of therapeutic cushion. I have confidence in the BBD.
~GidgetI have been a dedicated user of the BBD cushion since I was first hurt in 1963. I tried a ROHO cushion and other brands with no satisfaction. Nothing else was continually comfortable or as inexpensive as the BBD.
~R. OlfertI use my BBD cushion in the shower. Not only do I put them through the usual regime, but I expose them to water, soap and shower chemicals. They are the toughest, most resilient cushions on the market! Also, cushions from other sources cost more and break down much faster. Years ago, I found out that the BBD cushion was ideal .. it is perfect for the job and when I go traveling."
