Adjustable Elevating Footbase

The Adjustable Elevated Footbase is available for use with several EasyPivot models. It is an adjustable platform that bolts to the EasyPivot base. Convenient pull pins allow for quick height adjustment.

Height adjustment ranges from 0 to 8 inches in approximate 2-inch increments.

The Adjustable Elevated Footbase is recommended for growing children and short adults.

Back Lift Strap - Specify S, M, L or XL

The Back Lift Strap is used to assist an individual to sit upright from a prone position. It is useful for individuals who cannot be pulled upright by pulling on their arms. This includes persons with weak, painful, or subluxated shoulders - such as the shoulders of a spinal cord injured quadriplegic of level C-4 or higher.

The Back Lift Strap fastens around the individual's upper chest with a hook-and-loop fastener. A padded support is positioned at the individual's upper back and two nylon pull straps are placed over the individual's shoulders. The helper can then pull on the two pull straps in the same manner as one might pull on the individual's arms; however, the tension of pulling is borne by the nylon strap instead of the individual's shoulders.

When used with the EasyPivot, the Back Lift Strap helps a smaller-framed caregiver to transfer a larger-framed person. The caregiver positions himself or herself against the EasyPivot and pulls on the Back Lift Strap handles. As the individual sits up, he or she can be guided to lean against the EasyPivot's chest pad. Once sitting stability is gained, the EasyPivot's Back Lift Strap can then be fastened around the individual and the Back Lift Strap removed.

Caution: The Back Lift Strap should not be used to lift or suspend an individual in the air. Check the individual's skin in areas that the Back Lift Strap touches. If pressure causes redness or abrasion, pad that area as needed or discontinue use.

Chestpad Set-Back

The Chestpad Offset Adapter is a weldment that can be attached to the EP-110, 260 or the EP-325. In use, it serves to move the chestpad toward the caregiver, away from the user. This item is very useful when fitting persons with very large abdomens. By moving the chestpad away from them, the EasyPivot can be positioned closer to their knees.

Dual (Split) Chestpad

For persons with a tracheotomy, the split chestpad offers a convenient space for the airway tubing to rest in during a transfer. This is also useful for persons who have had bypass surgery and are sensitive in the breastbone area.

EP-82

The EasyPivot Model EP-82 is our lightweight homecare unit. This versatile lift fits most customers of average size. Like the Model EP-110, the Model EP-82 has a center column for exceptional balance, total-lock wheels, and dual pull handles. We've optimized the design for low cost and high durability - including molded urethane rubber upholstery and a three-setting wheelbase. The Model EP-82 will pass through a 24" wide doorway when configured in its narrow wheelbase setting.

Fully Adjustable Width Base

The Adjustable Width Base, which is standard on the EP-260 model, is now available as an optional base on the EasyPivot home model EP-82.  With the ease of a crank arm, this fully adjustable base can be adjusted wide for larger chairs, such as recliner chairs, that may not have any clearance underneath of them.  It can then be narrowed, while the user is on the machine, to get through narrow hallways or doorways.
